Woman Burns Girl’s Thighs With Hot Iron(PHOTO)

Traders were close to tears at Oshodi Market where the woman sells clothes, when they saw how the thighs of the 15-year old girl (name withheld) was seriously burnt, leaving permanent deep scars on her body. The little girl was sent by her parents, who live at Agege area of Lagos, to live with Isekolowo and serve as apprentice in her clothing shop.

She started living with her in November 2012. At the WAPA Ministry, Alausa, there was anger when government officials saw the deep wounds on the girl’s body, while they described the woman as extremely wicked and needed to be punished severely. Apart from the deep wounds on her thighs, there are also wounds all over her body, occasioned by constant beating and maltreatment. According to the girl, Kudirat accused her of stealing her N1,000 last week, but she denied stealing the money. She said the woman plugged a pressing iron and made sure it was very hot and pressed it on her two thighs and one of her hands, leaving deep wounds on her body. “I am not the one who stole the N1,000.

She said I took it and I denied it. She plugged iron and pressed it on my two thighs. My parents live in Agege, they asked me to live with her and learn how to sell clothes as they don’t have money,” she explained. On why there were other wounds all over her body, she said Kudirat usually beat her with wire. Kudirat admitted carrying out the act, saying that the girl stole her N1,000. “She stole my N1,000 last week and I don’t know what came over me. I know what I did is bad. I don’t know what happened to me when I did it,” she said. Kudirat wept when she knew that she could go to jail for her wicked act. Even her close friends who came with her felt very bad when they saw the degree of damage to the girl’s thighs. Executive Director, Esther Child Right Foundation, Mrs Esther Ogwu said she got a call from the founder of Compassionate Women Initiative, Mrs. Mary Olasupo, about a woman who burnt the thighs of a little girl with hot iron.

“We moved in immediately with the WAPA officials and arrested her and brought her to Alausa. At Oshodi market where we arrested her, traders were screaming when they saw the wound in the girl’s body,” she explained. Esther said it is now left for the state government to prosecute her in accordance with the child right’s law to serve as a deterrent to others. According to Mary, the founder, Compassionate Women Initiative, “a woman called me some days ago to intimate me about the incident. She told me that a woman had an apprentice, whom she accused of stealing her N1,000 and then used hot iron to burn her two thighs. That was when I called Esther Child Right Foundation for help and they came.” Officials of the state government have vowed that the woman would be prosecuted and be made to pay for her callous act.

Mancini - Ajax defeat was my fault

Roberto Mancini shouldered the blame after watching his Manchester City side slump to a 3-1 defeat to Ajax, insisting it was his fault that they lost. City's Champions League campaign is in major trouble after defeat in Amsterdam left them with one point from three matches. Goals from Siem de Jong, Nicklas Moisander and Christian Eriksen overturned Samir Nasri's opener. Mancini, either through honesty or an attempt to protect his players, turned all the blame on himself, claiming he did not prepare properly for the match. When pressed on the issue, the Italian explained that he sent his men out with the wrong tactics to beat Ajax. "They played better than us," Mancini told us. "It's my fault, I didn't prepare the players properly for this game. It's my fault. I prepared them one way but it was different. When you prepare them one way and think it will be like this, instead it is a different game." Mancini attempted to change his side's fortunes in the second half by switching from a back four to a back three, but he insists that alteration did not cost City the match. "We changed for five minutes but there were always 11 players [on the pitch]," he said. "Before [the change], we conceded two goals, so if someone wants to take this as an excuse, okay, but this is not the problem. "We have to be strong. It is very difficult [to qualify now]. One team (Dortmund) has seven points, one (Real Madrid) has six. We need a miracle like last year."

Fear Grips Community, Dead Python Found with 5 photographs of 7 Years Old Boy

There was mayhem in the Village of Chigodora in Eleme Community last week when a long dead PYTHON was found by the road side near a homestead with three passport-sized photos of a primary school boy close to the reptile’s head. There were also claims that the other two photos of the same size, which were placed near the snake’s tail had mysteriously vanished, leaving the villagers with all sort of tales, but no-one owning up to the origins of the deadly reptile. Two big stones were placed on the stretched snake, while its head was resting on a small one, which some villagers quipped was its pillow.

It was the photographs of the young boy that were found close to the snake that raised a lot of curiosity. Some were of the opinion that the snake was on a mission to harm the boy whose photos were next to its head, while others said the owner was no longer interested in its services and decided to terminate its life but could not explain the snake’s link with the photos. An elderly villager, aged 77, said: “This is stranger than fiction. I have been staying in this village since 1962 and I have never witnessed such a spine-chilling incident. This is not a natural phenomenon, If it is a natural thing then how come the photos are not being blown away by wind? How come the snake is not rotting or emitting any bad smell since it was first discovered on Saturday?” Another villager whose homestead is just 50 metres away from where the python was found, could not explain what had taken place. “I was at home when a passerby called us to come and see this weak-kneeing incident. At first the snake was left coiled just next to my yard and three photographs of the boy were near its head, while two other photos of the same person were near its tail.

We were afraid to go near it. On Sunday we discovered that the snake had been removed from where it was the previous day to where it is now. We do not even know who is doing this. The photos that were near its tail have disappeared,” he said. A debate ensued over how the snake should be disposed, as some people suggested that it should be burnt while others argued that if people inhale the smoke coming from the burning snake, it would harm them. So the villagers eventually agreed to ‘bury’ the snake. Fear engulfed the villagers who were present such that after the hole had been dug no one at first was willing to throw the snake inside. Efforts to trace the whereabouts of the boy whose photos were found next to the snake were fruitless as the villagers were reluctant t0o give details, but only said someone had positively identified the boy as a primary school boy at a nearby school.

1500 Years Old Bible Church Discovered In Galilie

The remains of an ancient synagogue with a striking mosaic floor have been uncovered in northern Israel, the Israel Antiquities Authority said Monday. The synagogue was uncovered in a dig that ended last week north-west of the Sea of Galilee at the ruins of the town of Huqoq, next to a modern-day kibbutz with the same name.

The synagogue dates to between the 4th and 6th centuries C.E., according to the Antiquities Authority. At the time, Jewish life in the land of Israel was largely centered in the north. The mosaic includes depictions of the heads of women, a portrayal of the biblical hero Samson and two foxes with burning torches tied to their tails — a detail from the Samson story in the Book of Judges — and a damaged Hebrew inscription urging congregants to perform good deeds.

The dig was led by Jodi Magness of the University of North Carolina, along with Antiquities Authority archaeologists. The mosaics at the synagogue display “high artistic quality,” Magness said in the Antiquities Authority announcement Monday. “This, together with the monumental size of the stones used to construct the synagogue’s walls, suggest a high level of prosperity in this village, as the building clearly was very costly,” she said. The mosaic has been covered to protect it, and will be displayed again when the 2013 dig season begins next summer, according to the Antiquities Authority.

EXPOSED!! Pastor Okotie Had A Secret Love Child With Another Woman While Married(A MUST READ)

Just when the new couple was settling to a new life, a certain Remi Odutola emerged from the blues alleging that she has a 9-year-old girl for the man of God. While her assertions beggar belief, the tall and delicately slim lady averred that she’s Reverend Chris’ secret wife. Hear her, “My name is Aderemi Odutola, a granddaughter of Ogbeni Oja of Ijebu-Ode. I met Reverend Christopher Okotie in 1997. I was a young Pastor desperately looking for a good church where I could worship and God led me to the Household Of God. Then, I had a music ministry, and because he was an ace musician, I took him as my mentor and strongly believed that he would help me one day. Along the line, something happened.

We started seeing each other and I’ve done abortion for him three times before I decided to leave the last one”. Why did she leave the last pregnancy and why is she coming out nine years after? ‘I left the pregnancy not for anything, but for the fact that he proposed to marry me’, she said, as tears welled up in her eyes. “Initially, I didn’t accept his proposal because of his wife, Tina. I couldn’t have married a married man. But he told me that his marriage to Tina was on the brink of collapse. He lied to me! Trouble, however, started immediately I got pregnant. He started behaving funny, unlike the amiable Pastor I met sometime back. At times, I would call him, but he wouldn’t pick or return my calls,” she said with a soft chuckle that betrayed a mien of good breeding and humility. Her expression soon dissolved into a sad look when she recalled the moment she gave birth. ‘It dawned on me when I gave birth to our daughter that he was just a player.

Ever since I gave birth to Tioluwani Okotie (our daughter), Reverend Chris has abandoned us in my family house in Opebi. It has not been easy at all taking care of our daughter all alone,” she said and opened a whirlpool of tears. Does he send money for the child’s up-keep? “Money”? Remi said questioningly. She said further, “ Whenever I call him that his daughter needs something, he will be dribbling me, giving me one excuse or the other. I was highly disappointed when I heard he eventually married Stephanie Henshaw, his late friend’s wife. He did not marry me with all the things I have been through because of him.” We visited the church and some church members who do not want their names to be mentioned, confirmed that they have seen the little girl who shares a striking resemblance with the Pastor.

We further gathered that even at the children’s church, people always gather to look at the girl and unconsciously wonder aloud if she is for Reverend Chris or not. We tried to confirm this story from this abundantly brilliant man of God to confirm the veracity of the story, but all efforts to reach him proved abortive.

23 Years Old Graduate Commits Suicide Over Girlfriend

For the family and friends of a young man identified as Chijioke who lived of 98 Abel Jumbo Street, in Mile Two, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, June 24, will forever be remembered as a Black Sunday. While the young man’s family members are wallowing in mourning, neighbours and acquaintance too are still reeling from shock over his sudden d*ath.

The question everyone is asking is: Why would a young, able-bodied graduate choose to take his own life on account of a woman? The person in question, Chijioke, age 23, a native of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, and the son of a female Chief Matron with the Rivers State Health Management Board, allegedly committed suicid* at his residence two hours after he was granted bail by the Diobu Police Station after he was arrested and detained for harassing his girlfriend.

According to witnesses, on Saturday, June 23, the late young man and his girlfriend had a misunderstanding which prompted the young lady to have him arrested by the police on allegations of constant harassments and threat to her life. According to reports, the lady in question (name withheld) decided to arrest the deceased when he insisted that their relationship (which she was no longer interested in) must continue. Before the deceased was released from police cell, he was made to sign an undertaking that he would neither hurt the lady again nor go close to her. Thereafter, he left the police station in fury. Relatives of the deceased who were at the scene of the crime refused to offer any comment, but few neighbors who spoke on the condition of anonymity confirmed that the late lover was discovered dead when a friend came to visit him.

According to them, the visitor alarm drew the attention of neighbours and passers-by to the shocking sight inside his room. Regarding the reason behind the late Chijioke’s fatal action, an insider affirmed that the general consensus was that his rash action that culminated in his premature death was due to his girlfriend’s refusal to continue with the relationship, a decision believed to have been informed by his constant beating and manhandling of the girl. Another source claimed that the deceased, a former student of Marine Engineering Department of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, had been dating the girl since when he was in the university. Meanwhile, elders from Isiokpo, the deceased’s hometown, had been deliberating on the matter.

Relatives are in dilemma as there are rumours that the remains of the deceased may be thrown into evil forest in accordance with the Ikwerre custom as it relates to suicides. In the meantime, the case had been reported to the Azikiwe Police Station for further investigations. Stay Informed And Subscribe
